The pilot who didn't know 6ft of wing was gone

A Cessna 210 pilot flew for two hours on his way to Lisbon before he realised that 6ft of the port wing and a fuel tank were missing.

He nor three flight engineers on the plane, who were on their way to repair a grounded Boeing 747, had noticed the problem till the pilot noticed that the fuel gauge for the missing tank was on empty.

Its amazing that the pilot did not notice any changes in the controls as the port aileron was damaged.
