British Airways A319 loses all flight displays at night

A British Airways Airbus A319 suffered serious loss of electrical power to the cockpit last month.

A 'Mayday' call also failed as power to the radio was no longer available.

The crew managed to restore power to most of the instruments and was cleared for its journey to Budapest after holding for 40 mins.
