El Al cancels option to buy 787s from Boeing

Israeli carrier El Al has decided to cancel its option to buy eight to 10 787s as part of its strategy to focus on near-term future.

The airline is facing more competition as Israel is moving toward an open-skies policy and its focusing onto the year 2010 the furthest.
