Israir to be first Israeli carrier to buy Airbus

Israeli carrier Israir is set to the first Israeli carrier to buy jets from Airbus. Israir said on Wednesday it would buy two Airbus A320s with option for a third.

Israir will receive two leased A320s until its own aircraft is delivered in 2010.
