Fairing on KLSV-1 failed during maiden launch

South Korea failed in its bid to send a satellite into space using the KLSV-1 due to a problem with one of the payload fairing.

One of the fairing failed to separate during the second-stage burn and the vehicle could not accelerate to its desired speed to put the satellite in correct orbit.
